I just realized how quickly our next exhibition is coming upon us! I have completed the top of the quilt and am ready to begin quilting it. I am really looking forward to immersing myself in this stage of the quilt, because I have been deprived of quilting for several months. After 4 bridal showers, 4 rehearsal dinners, one trip to Maui, Beverly Hills, Temecula, and San Diego for four weddings and their receptions; several weekends of wedding-decor sewing, altering one wedding dress, one groom's suit, and two mother of the bride dresses, not to mention shopping and agreeing on multiple appropriate wedding/shower/rehearsal outfits for a 13 y/o girl (and myself) it is finally the end of Wedding Season 2011 in our household! I guess I should be thankful I didn't have to make the bridesmaids' dresses. All this while implementing a new software program at work and selling my house. I officially declare it "Quilting Season 2011" in my household!
